Sandy was part of a group of parents who met in April of 1989 to form Share & Care. Sandy's role has changed over the course of time from parent of a child with a disability, volunteer, board member, to direct care staff and then to Business Administrator. As the Business Administrator, her main job functions are overseeing all financial aspects of both the business and consumer funds, and as a member of the Administrative team, which guides the agency into its future. Sandy's favorite part of the job is interacting with the people we serve and seeing them change and learn to become more independent... Our strengths are in recognizing, developing and utilizing the talents of the people we serve. This positive approach has led to success in difficult areas such as behavior and communication... Care means safety, and we strive to provide a safe environment with attentive staff. There are no cookie cutters inour profession, we are sure to personalize our care to each individual.
