She joins SIG as a Recruitment Consultant, where she hopes to help talented people find out how they can advance our world by finding them exciting new opportunities. My first job was: a waitress at wedding receptions (she spilled soup on the priest once)

Rachel Shen

With 17 years of recruiting expertise, Rachel is committed to bettering the livelihoods of clients and candidates. Prior to co-founding SIGnature Recruiting in 2010, Rachel acted as an account manager for a large recruitment firm. And seeing several windows of opportunity for process improvements, SIGnature was formed. Here, she impacts the future of some of Vancouver's coolest IT companies by placing phenomenal candidates with them - adding value to all involved. I have worked directly with Rachel Shen and her team at Signature Recruiting since 2013, on a contingency basis. During this time, Rachel has placed 5 candidates in our IT department. Rachel has been a key partner in sourcing talented individuals for our team, and she has a good understanding of our company culture and recruit process. Rachel has also been a great resource for market industry information. Energetic and open, Rachel welcomes questions and always puts client needs first. In her personal life, Rachel competes in sprint triathlons, and completed her first half marathon in 2015. She resides in Vancouver with her very active son and daughter.

Ryan Herbert

Ryan holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine and a Masters in Global Management from Royal Roads University. He joins SIGnature as a Recruitment Consultant, and has worked in a variety of industries, from health care management to sales and business development management in the craft beer space. He has worked and lived in 5 countries over the course of his career. In his free time, you can find Ryan keeping active via running, biking, longboarding or playing disc golf.
