Stephen D. Finch was born in Sherman, Texas in 1958. He is a 1976 graduate of Spring High School in Spring, Texas and a 1980 graduate of Austin College in Sherman, Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in political science and history. After completing his legal education at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio where he earned the degree of Juris Doctor in 1983 and receiving his license from the Supreme Court of Texas to practice law later that same year, Stephen made the decision to forego the traditional path of young..
