JANET

When Janet Barmore was 15 years old, she got her first job - at a bowling alley in Bountiful. She was drawn to the coffee shop there and loved seeing the regulars come in to dine and socialize... Her dream to open her own cafe someday remained on the back burner. In May 2005, she saw her hopes materialize when she opened Janet's Sunshine Cafe. The tiny dining room seats just 37, but Janet keeps it packed while she is open for breakfast and lunch... As for the menu, Janet said her mom was a great cook who taught her to make things from scratch. The menu came to Janet naturally, as she selected her favorite recipes - meals she had been perfecting since childhood.
