Werneth School serves a comprehensive intake of young people, with approximately 1100 children of all abilities and backgrounds. We mainly serve the communities of Bredbury, Romiley, Woodley and Brinnington. Werneth prides itself on being an inclusive school, with a large support network of professionals surrounding our curriculum in the classroom. Werneth students follow an ambitious curriculum with a large range of both academic and practical subjects at GCSE, supplemented by an increasing vocational pathway. Students can follow the English Baccalaureate pathway in Years 10 and 11, or a more diverse set of subjects where appropriate.
