M.S. Ed

M.S. Ed., Ed.S., NCSP, ABSNP ​​I am a Pennsylvania certified school psychologist, as well as a nationally certified school psychologist. I received my Masters degree, as well as Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies, from Duquesne University. I also am a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology, having recently completed an advanced, 170-hour training course in School Neuropsychology. School Neuropsychology is an emerging field that combines neuropsychological knowledge and practice with school psychology, to enable practitioners to understand and utilize the principles of neuropsychology and apply neuropsychological findings to help children in the school setting. ​I am also a graduate of the Temple University School of Law. I am a former attorney, having been licensed in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey and Michigan. As a former attorney, I have undergone numerous training seminars in education law, including special education law. ​As a school psychologist in the Pittsburgh area, I have worked in both public and charter school settings and with diverse populations. I have also worked with psychologists in private practice. I consult frequently with both schools and parents to help them understand their students and assist them in developing an education plan that enhances optimum learning.
