ALDER HEY CHILDREN'S KIDNEY FUND

Alder Hey Children's Kidney Fund was founded in 1968 by parents and friends of children with renal and urological disorders. In 1968 there was no specialised renal unit for children at Alder Hey Hospital and the fund was able to help financially to provide equipment for the unit. Over the years the work of the Fund has evolved to meet changing techniques and procedures but to this day still focuses on supporting children with renal and urological disorders…... Our mission is to provide help to children with renal and urological disorders, through welfare assistance, supporting staff training and development, providing equipment, supporting research and other activities.
