Cheryl Taylor brings more than 30 years of accounting experience to Capstone Management Services. Cheryl has a wide variety of accounting experience specializing in the fields of Property Management, Property Development, and General Contracting.
In 1993 Cheryl became an E.A. (Enrolled Agent), which has allowed Cheryl to work closely with CPA's on various projects. Prior to working in the field of accounting, Cheryl graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Karman McKinlay brings over 20 years of experience with her diverse background and applied knowledge in payroll, accounting, budgeting, vendor management and client correspondence.
Karman joined Capstone Management Services from other real estate investment firms where she oversaw the overall office management, human resources, vendor service management, financial management, brokerage services, and asset services of the firms.

Mr. Nelson is President and founder of Capstone Management Services, Inc. He is responsible for all investments and the senior executive responsible for real estate services. Mr. Nelson has over 35 years of experience in all phases of the development, financing, leasing, and management of commercial office, retail, industrial, and multi-family projects.
Mr. Nelson began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse. He earned his MBA degree from Stanford University and a B.S. degree magna cum laude from The University of Southern California. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
Mr. Nelson is active in the greater community, having served on the Board of Directors of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association, Orange County Stanford Alumni Association, Harbor Day School, and South Coast Metro Alliance.
Mr. Nelson is Vice President at Capstone Management Services, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing investments, operations, and management for Capstone's clients. Mr. Nelson has over 5 years of experience in all phases of the acquisition, and management of commercial and multi-family projects.
Mr. Nelson began his real estate career with Professional Real Estate Services, Inc. in Newport Beach, CA. selling commercial office properties. Subsequently, Mr. Nelson was Investment Manager for CWS Capital Partners in Austin, Texas, where he acquired and managed over $160 Million of multi-family properties. Mr. Nelson earned his BA degree from Stanford University in International Relations with an emphasis in Economics. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a licensed Arizona Real Estate Broker.
Ms. Nava is the Regional Manager for Capstone Management Services in Boise, Idaho. She is responsible for overseeing Capstone's projects in Idaho and the Northwest, in addition to acquiring new management clients.
Veronica brings 16 years of experience to the multi-family housing business. Starting her career in leasing and then management, she adds a wealth of practical experience. Her background includes conventional, tax credit, and new construction. Veronica's leadership style includes high expectations and individual responsibility. These help her build strong support systems, dedicated teams, and employee growth. With her successful approach she is able to achieve ownership's goals on each and every property.
