CARBON Group is based in Austria and was established in 2004 by founder & CEO Ferdinand Heilig. Our group of companies develops, finances and operates sustainable, environmentally friendly and economically feasible projects... We believe that a sustainable development of our society is essential not only for us, but particularly for future generations, and it can be the sole response to today's problems such as climate change, environmental pollution or a decreasing biodiversity. Therefore, it is important to us besides taking actions against climate change, also to play an active role in the transition of an energy system, which is based now on fossil fuels and nuclear energy, to a more sustainable energy system based on renewable energy sources.
