Dr. Nathan Zaher

My name is Dr. Nathan Zaher, I grew up in a small city outside of Detroit. I graduated from Avalon School of Medicine, where I completed my basic science education in the Caribbean and clinical science education at a variety of teaching hospitals throughout the city of Chicago, including John. Stroger Hospital of Cook County and Jackson Park. I then went back to Detroit to complete my residency training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. After residency, I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Pereira, Alhomsi and Borisiak and started practicing as an Internal Medicine provider with CCG. My hobbies include traveling, martial arts, chess and watching sports. When I was deciding my Career path back in High School, I felt that Medicine was something I could pursue that would give me the satisfaction of helping patients. The one thing about Medicine I enjoy the most is the trust that the patient gives to you. You can have somebody that is a perfect stranger to you and when they meet you the first time, they trust you. I wear that as a sense of responsibility and commitment to my patients.
