In 1978 Comptech was formed as a precision Engine rebuilding Company Specializing in Porsche Mercedes and BMW automobiles. At the same time we became involved in motorsports by designing, preparing and campaigning cars in Road racing. Winning multiple national championships Comptech became involved with Several different Automotive Manufacturers subcontracting Comptech to run several different types of Development and Racing programs with Renault Jeep Sport, American Honda, Acura, General Motors, Toyota and Saturn... While working for American Honda and Acura, Comptech Programs won the prestigious 24 hours of Daytona, 12 hours of Sebring, 10 National Driver Championships and 5 manufacturer Championships. Comptech also ran the development test team for Honda on their Indycar Engine program... comptech machine was founded by Don Erb Doug Peterson
