Dow Rummel Village is a non-profit corporation entrusted to a policy and procedure Board of Trustees... There are some who dare to dream and make a difference. Among them were Jacob Rummel and Emilie Dow, both who individually dared to envision the creation of a new type of community within the city of Sioux Falls - a community that would serve the needs of those of advancing years. Dow Rummel, a non-profit organization, was Sioux Falls first retirement home and is now the premier Life Plan community in the region.
