Hope Enterprises, Inc. was founded in 1952 by physician Dr. Max E. Miller, and his wife, Leona, as well as other parents and community leaders in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. From the beginning, the organization was a front runner in providing community services to people with intellectual disABILITIES. Families were faced with the care of their children, but no community services were available for them. The only options were to keep their children at home or place them in an institution... Enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disABILITIES by providing them with caring support and responsive services... Hope Enterprises, Inc. serves northcentral PA with a full range of programs and services for individuals with developmental disABILITIES.
