About Us > Iowa Wood Home Maintenance, LLC was founded by brothers Chas and Joe Funaro. Chas and Joe got their start in the construction industry while in Jr High School by cleaning construction sites for their grandfather, a general contractor in southern Missouri. Later, they graduated to installing log siding at some of his residential jobs. By 2000, they were being schooled in log home construction by their father and his business in central Iowa as a general contractor specializing in log home construction. As the popularity of log homes boomed through the early 2000s, so did the need to maintain the exteriors of the homes. An opportunity for the brothers to start their own business arose and Iowa Wood Home Maintenance was born. To date, the brothers have combined to work on over 100 log and cedar siding homes throughout Iowa and southwest Missouri...
