Julie Brown - President

Julie Brown has nineteen years of global human resources experience with Fortune 100 companies and smaller organizations. Prior to founding JBH Consulting, Julie was Vice President, Human Resources - Americas for MicroStrategy, Inc. At MicroStrategy Julie led Human Resources for North and South America. During her tenure the team made strides in Talent Management including: leadership development program, mentoring program, executive on boarding program, management training curriculum, executive coaching and redesigned the performance management process. The Human Resources Operations were enhanced including: HR Generalist Business Partner model, HRIS, HR dashboard, compensation structure, employee orientation and on boarding processes, organizational structure and employee benefits options. Before joining MicroStrategy Julie was Senior Director, Human Resources for Freddie Mac partnering with the Investments & Capital Markets and Finance Divisions. In this role she partnered with senior executives to design effective organizational structures; implement executive on boarding; manage succession planning and high performer development; build a pay for performance culture; and provide executive coaching. Prior to Freddie Mac, Julie worked for Time Warner holding three roles in her tenure: Director, Talent Acquisition for AOL; Director, Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership Development for Time Warner Cable and ultimately Vice President, Human Resources for the Broadband Division of Time Warner Cable. In these roles she managed the recruiting structure and process, managed leadership development programs, provided executive coaching and managed human resources operations. Additionally, Julie has experience building leadership development programs for the Corporate Executive Board and managing human resources for Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson) and Bridge Information Systems (now Reuters). Julie holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University and a M.S. in Human Resources Management from Widener University.
