Joel Newin

"Young and dangerous", the bartender has indeed secured this title from a recent competition. Sporting a different hairdo each time, Jo (which he introduces himself as) is all about making sure you have a good time! His drinks have melted the hearts of many women, and his jovial and lighthearted spirit broke the tough-guy facades of many men. Under his gallivanting spirit; lies the heart of a mastermind behind the ingenious menus of Hopscotch. He also recently emerged a finalist in the La Maison Cointreau Competition in 2015. Since the departure of Kino Soh from Hopscotch in Oct 2015, Jo now helms Hopscotch bar.

Louis Tan

Bold, courageous and adventurous, Louis Tan has vast experience in the F&B industry. At only the age of 23, Louis has already worked in several establishments and reputable cocktail bars; more notably Take, Klee and Bar Stories. He had taken the great leap of helming Mars Bar at The Duxton. A firm believer in the application of knowledge, Louis spends most of his time reading books about flavours, cocktails and drinks, as well as watching bartending videos. Louis has played a rudimentary role in the fostering of Mixes from Mars, Mars Bar and Hopscotch.

Nicholas Goh

The latest addition to the team, Nicholas is no newcomer. Nicholas has been bartending with Mixes from Mars ever since its inception in 2013, he has since worked stints at both Mars bar and Hopscotch and have picked up the fine trade of drink making. Although an awesome bartender, his true strength lies in his glib tongue. Nicholas enjoys deep and meaningful conversations with his guests. No wonder the ladies love him.

Roger Yip

With a strong love for drinking, there is no reason why Roger did not eventually find out about the hidden world of cocktails. He has worked at a range F&B places since he was 16, from a banquet server at Swissotel, to a barman at Bar Bar Black Sheep, a bartender at Barstories, and a short stint at Jekyll & Hyde. Schooling by day, Roger retreats to his second home at Hopscotch every night to do what he loves best. Although handling more of the administrative role in Mixes from Mars, Roger spends as much time on coming up with the most wacky of cocktails.

Sandy Lai

The bartending wunderkind of Mixes from Mars! Beginning her bartending career at Mars Bar, Sandy has made tremendous leaps in picking the trade of night banter and tipples. Besides the amazing drinks, Sandy is so much about customer service that you may just feel guilty for under tipping. Don't be deceived by the gentle demeanour, Sandy has one mean shake you'll never forget!
