A graduate of Xi'an Foreign Language College in China, Allen has over 20 years of experience in logistics, sales, and international trading. Allen joined Pacific Timber in 2018 after working with the company for more than 6 years through an agency. In addition to his professional experience, Allen's bilingual abilities and familiarity with the Chinese culture are a fantastic compliment to the Pacific Timber team. Allen immigrated from China to Nanaimo, BC in 2009 where he currently resides. For him, the best aspect of Pacific Timber is the team atmosphere and the feelings of trust and support that come with it.
Klaus Posselt, a born entrepreneur, immigrated from Germany as a teen with his family in the early 70's. After many years of hard work on the family farm Klaus bought his first logging truck and grew his business(es) from there. Around 2012, in part due to dropping lumber prices and increasing logging costs he recognized the need to salvage and utilize waste timber that would otherwise be left in brush piles to be burnt. Driven by his resourceful nature and a market demand he purchased, redesigned and built a few small sawmills to do just that.
