At Prince Andrew School, we want to enthuse students with a love of reading and writing. Effective communication is the key to a successful life... At Prince Andrew School, we follow the UK National Curriculum for English. Over the course of three years, students will learn how to write for... different purposes and audiences, covering the writing triplets: persuade, argue, advise; inform, explain, describe; imagine, explore, entertain. They will be required to complete a reading and writing assessment for each unit as well as various speaking and listening activities throughout the year. We operate a system of continuous assessment so that we can accurately target and monitor your child's performance, knowing when to intervene so that each student can reach their potential.
