Eric Goldberg, MD Dr. Goldberg is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine; he has built a highly respected private practice in Queens, New York. After attending medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, a world renowned medical institution, Dr. Goldberg completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital. As a primary care physician, he believes strongly in helping his patients maintain or regain their overall health and helps patients with things such as weight loss and nutrition. Dr. Goldberg conforms to the belief that he is responsible for your overall health and well-being and that a family physician who knows you best can coordinate the efforts of everyone involved in your care. At Total Medical NY each patient is evaluated by board certified specialists including medical doctors specializing in Internal Medicine and Physiatrists specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical therapists, pain specialists, as well as doctors of chiropractic. Dr. Goldberg treats a wide range of conditions including but not limited to hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, gout, arthritis, asthma, emphysema, weight loss, stress management, and helping patients with quitting smoking. Dr. Goldberg currently maintains hospital affiliations at New York Hospital in Queens, New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. Whenever possible, Dr. Goldberg provides home visits as well as ongoing home care for those chronically ill and unable to leave home.
