I enjoyed Art as a child but also enjoyed exploring nature and so many other things... It was when I was in high school in Texas, when I took some painting classes from a most amazing art teacher, that something happened. She taught us to focus totally on what we were doing and follow what was coming to us to do. She said the process of creation was what was important, much more that the end result. I was so taken by the magic of creating in the moment, and listening to what the painting wanted, and I wanted to keep doing that... The Art that was made in this way was well received and people seemed to really benefit from having it in their lives, so they were getting something out of it as well, and this was great.
