Mr. Filewych has over 27 years' experience working in the utility industry introducing changes in operations and new business capability. Formally, Mr. Filewych was Managing Director for Accenture providing consulting in all aspects
of the utility value chain and a global leader for large transformation programs. He has extensive knowledge in large scale deployments of emerging technology in the utility industry. He is Chair, SmartGrid Canada where he has
worked with governments in shaping policy for smart grid and clean tech. He is leading the development of policy, business and technical frameworks for the smart microgrid on medium and low voltage networks.
Most recently he was CEO of Corinex Communications where he guided the development of an industry leading broadband based AMI application, Smart Grid Connect currently in trial in eastern Europe.
Mr. Al-Juburi is a proven business and technology leader in the application of smart grid technologies for utility transformation. He was recently the Grid Operations lead as a Partner in the Utilities practice of Accenture, LLC and
resides in San Francisco, California. He has over 15 years of experience in the Utilities industry and has deep expertise in power systems operations, generation, transmission and distribution, deregulated energy markets, power
trading, and smart grid. Mr. Al-Juburi has successfully delivered many complex, large-scale system integration and business transformation programs for Utilities and Energy clients. He has also authored and presented on Smart Grid
