After 42 years litigating some of the biggest (and smallest) cases in the State of Washington, I retired from the active practice of law on December 31, 2012, having developed expertise in the areas of personal injury, product liability, medical/healthcare and professional malpractice, employment law, and construction defect... Having litigated many hundreds of cases and having experience in the trial arena, I am keenly aware of the risks, uncertainties, and stress of trials for both parties, and as such am uniquely qualified to act as an impartial arbitrator or mediator with significant experience and understanding as to how to get cases settled between private litigants and the insurance industry.
