The Endowment for Unexceptional Humans aims to provide scholarship assistance and grants to individuals or groups with realistic goals for improving their lives and our world. We take donations from people who want to help and distribute the funds to applicants who meet our criteria of having a real ambition and a solid plan for achieving their goals. We believe that the majority of us, who are by definition unexceptional humans, have the potential for excellence... The Endowment for Unexceptional Humans has two explicit purposes: the first is to provide financial and community support. The second purpose of The Endowment for Unexceptional Humans is to combat the American ideal of rugged individualism and the myth that we live in a meritocracy. We do this by focusing on an individual or group's plan for the future and their ability to demonstrate their perseverance, resilience, character, and support, rather than awarding our support based on the prior performance of applicants.
