David Otwell has been conducting polygraph examinations since 2010. He is a full member of the American Polygraph Assocation, the Association of Police Polygraphists and the Oklahoma Polygraph Assocation. David was appointed by two separate governors to serve on the Oklahoma Polygraph Examiners Board and is currently the vice chair of the Board. David was trained in the use of polygraph by world-renowned polygraph examiner Cleve Backster of Backster School of Lie Detection in San Diego, California. *In 1948, Cleve Backster accepted a position as an interrogation specialist with the Central Intelligence Agency, where he instituted their still-active polygraph program in 1949. In 1962, Backster founded the Backster School of Lie Detection, the generally recognized leader in establishing and teaching polygraph technique standards. He has served as a training director for more than 177 basic polygraph examiner training courses and scores of advanced polygraph examiner work conferences and seminars. Unlike other polygraph schools, students come from all over the world to learn from Backster. David is a full member of the American Polygraph Association, American Association of Police Polygraphists and the Oklahoma Polygraph Association. He is licensed and insured in the State of Oklahoma.
