Years ago, when our company Wild Plum was just a tiny seedling in my mind, I could never have imagined how this initial passion would lead me to discover a further interest in both interior and building design, as I uncovered and brought to life our six holiday cottages here in North Northumberland. Some of the cottages were literally ivy covered shells nestled in and around our family farm near the village of Etal, and as a then busy mum of three, any spare minutes in the day would see me scribbling on floor plans and pulling colour schemes together...
