WOOD DOCTOR CONSTRUCTION - Key Persons

Bruce Hasselbring

Bruce Hasselbring moved to the Valley in 1974, a transplant from the Chicago area. "I just came here to ski", he says. He soon fell in love with the rich mountain life in the Roaring Fork Valley. He spent almost 20 years in service as a ski patroller and 6 years as President of the Aspen Professional Ski Patrol Association. When not patrolling, he spent his time on home building and carpentry. Wood Doctor Construction, Inc. soon grew to the point where he had to make it a year round business. Sadly, he left the patrol but continues to employ patrollers during the spring, summer and fall. Bruce still skis regularly, both on the mountains and in the back country. Wood Doctor Construction, Inc. offers a variety of services but focuses primarily on wood frame residential homes and light commercial construction. Wood Doctor World Headquarters is located at the home of Bruce & Cheryl Hasselbring on Oak Run in Carbondale. Recent projects include construction of a custom home in Missouri Heights, a "cabin" in the Ragged Mountain Reserve on McClure Pass, a residence (other than his own) on Oak Run in Carbondale, an addition on Greystone Drive in Carbondale, a straw bale home in Marble as well as a frame constructed home in Smuggler Mobile Home Park in Aspen. Bruce Hasselbring brings more than 30 years of experience to his team of exceptionally talented homebuilders. He feels that he has been incredibly fortunate to have some of the best people working with him. Not only are the guys talented, they are personable and trustworthy which makes for a great experience for the homeowners. Bruce is currently finishing up a custom home and will be happy to speak with you regarding any type of project.
