Biotechnology High School is a life-science founded magnet school based in Freehold, NJ. In 2013, BTHS was ranked the #1 school in New Jersey and #8 in the United States by US News and World Report... Therefore, we hoped to develop a method to detect ammonia levels. The goal is to apply the results to developing a non-invasive urine test that could help diagnose liver cirrhosis.
