The Concrete Workers United (LIUNA! CWU Local 202) represents concrete construction workers in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Our members come from a variety of different socio-economic backgrounds, but they all have on thing in common: They are responsible for all the major construction in the DC Metro area. As you drive around the DC area, you see work cranes all over the District. The construction that is going up around the DC area takes time to be done correctly. It takes a well trained workforce to make sure that these projects are being completed on time and on budget. We make sure that our workers are the best-trained in the industry because we care about what DC is going to look like to future generations.
