Development International (DI) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization that works to enhance global development by making it an empowering resource for local communities-the ultimate stakeholders-by helping them take control of their own development initiatives. DI promotes community centered development (CCD) through a place-based systems approach, since local stakeholders are the ultimate experts in understanding their development needs and affecting meaningful solutions.
