Alina Untila

I moved to London from Moldova in 2015 with my husband and daughter. Previously I was a general nurse but because of different regulations, I could no longer use my qualification in the UK. I decided to retrain as a dental nurse and qualified in 2019. I joined the wonderful team at JL Dental Care in September 2021 and I find myself very comfortable and happy here. I like to take care of the patients and enjoy helping them to feel relaxed and safe during their treatment.

Batsheva Deutsch

I trained to be a dental nurse in Israel in 1996 before passing my National Certificate for Dental Nurses at the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2007. I joined up with JL Dental in 2008. The practice has a real family focus where we really get to know our patients. I spend my time outside work with my husband and our three children, they always keep me busy!

Carmen Bodros

I moved to London from Romania in 2015 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in March 2018. I have been working in different areas of London since and have also done further training in order to expand my skills as a Dental Nurse, such as Dental Radiography and Oral Health Education. Recently I joined the JL Dental Care team and honestly, I feel that I am part of a family where everyone works together to give best care for each patient.

Dr Jonathan Lever

I qualified at The Royal London Hospital in 1985 and entered hospital dental service working at The Royal London, St George's and Kings College hospitals. I then moved into general practice, and continued my education at Eastman Dental hospital, gaining an MSc in 1992. Having had my own practice in Potters Bar for 14 years, I have enjoyed establishing this practice in Edgware which opened in 2007. I am always appreciative of the trust placed in me by patients, whether they are new to the practice or 3rd generation under my care.

Dr Jonny Lightstone

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2006 and have worked in mixed practices providing NHS and private care ever since. I currently spend my time working between practices based in Berkshire and here in Edgware. I'm a committed trainer within Health Education Thames Valley mentoring newly qualified dentists and helping them transition into general practice. My passion is creating healthy smiles as well as maintaining them. In this I utilise the latest in minimally invasive treatments to provide the very best options for my patients in order to ensure health and aesthetics. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry in particular cosmetic orthodontic treatment with Invisalign and composite bonding. I am committed to further education and have undertaken courses with leading dentists to be able to provide excellence in all aspects of his care. I enjoy spending quality time with my wife Amy and two children Bella and Oliver. If Amy and I are lucky enough to get a babysitter then we are partial to a bit of fine dining. I am delighted to have recently joined the team at JL Dental care and I'm really excited to meet you.

Dr Leigh-Ann Elias

I Qualified from Pretoria University in 1997 soon after my 21st birthday. I left South Africa a few months after, very keen to see the world. I worked in general practice and undertook further training in maxillo-facial surgery in Aberdeen, Scotland and gained my MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I then worked in Oxford and now London. I continue to enjoy general practice as well as working at King's College London, where I teach undergraduates oral surgery and also do a chronic pain clinic once a week. I am delighted to be working with Jonathan and his dynamic team. I am married with three small children.

Georgina Naylor

I started nursing in 2000, qualifying as a Dental Assistant in 2006. I have worked chair-side with Jonathan since early 2008. I thoroughly enjoy my place within the team, and it's great building such lasting relationships with our patients as well. When I'm not working I usually have my hands full with my 3 children, and I like to relax with a good book.

Hina Nayee

Job Titles:
  • Dental Hygienist
I qualified as a dental nurse in March 2004 working in a private Central London practice. After getting married and having two amazing children, I decided to further pursue my career and in September 2016 I joined The Eastman Dental Hospital to train as a Dental Hygienist. I qualified in June 2018 and look forward to my career ahead. I enjoy seeing and making a difference by improving patient's oral health.

Karen Rose

I have over 30 years experience, qualifying as a dental nurse from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1989. I took a short career break to have my two sons and began working with Jonathan at his previous practice in 2003. I then joined him here in Edgware as Practice Manager. We've created a really warm family environment and I'm delighted to be a part of the team.

Miriam Landau

I qualified as a dental nurse at King's College Hospital in 1987, going on to work in practices in the West End of London, then as senior nurse in the emergency department of UCH Dental Hospital. I then qualified as a dental hygienist in 1991 and lectured part time in Dental Hygiene at King's College Hospital for 8 years. I'm married with 3 children, I love reading, cooking and zumba!
