She currently has two cats and a bearded dragon. Her experience also encompasses caring for fish and guinea pigs. In her free time, Autumn likes traveling, photography, reading, and spending time with her family! Fish joined the Pet Resort team in March 2022 with over 15 years of pet care experience. Their role includes ensuring everyone has a fun day, going above and beyond to meet each dogs' unique needs. Fish treasures the relationships built with the dogs and seeing the joy in their faces when they see their friends. Knowing they will get to make new friends makes Fish's heart happy! Currently, Fish and their partner share three cats, one dog, and four ferrets. While growing up, Fish learned to care for sheep, horses, chicken, geese, turkeys, a feral cat colony, rodents, snakes, fish, cats, and dogs. They believe their experiences on the farm helped make their animal care skills versatile and adaptive. Additionally, Fish worked in professional pet care as a sitter and kennel technician. They have also worked alongside professional groomers, dog trainers, and veterinarians, giving them exposure to various dog-related situations. They hope to further their pet care career by attending dog training academies to enhance their knowledge in canine behavior and group/pack management. Fish recommends all pet parents read Reaching the Animal Mind by Karen Pryor. Pryor's understanding of animal behavior changed how they engage and understand animals. Fish encourages everyone to read Pryor's work and believes our dogs appreciate our efforts!
