RE:THINK THE DEAF HOME EXPERIENCE

We are graduate students in the Master of Human-Computer Interaction + Design program at the University of Washington. We are working on a capstone project to RE:THINK The Deaf Home Experience. There are many things in our environment that convey status through auditory cues. People who are unable to hear these cues are missing this information. We would like to change that... The RE:THINK Team is a diverse group. We come from different parts of the world. We have different degree and skill areas and no two team members share the same native language. But there is one area where the lines between us are not so blurry- that is, our desire to choose a capstone project that has the propensity to help real people who have a real need that we can solve.
