SACOPEE VALLEY FAMILY DENTISTRY - Key Persons

Dr. Christopher Parent was born in Northern Maine and then grew up near Bangor. Since a young age, Dr. Parent knew he wanted to become a dentist when he grew up. He received his bachelor's degree from Liberty University in Virginia and returned to Maine for dental school. At the University of New England, he received a degree in the Doctor of Dental Medicine. After an externship in dental school at Harrington Health Center near Machias, Dr. Parent dedicated 3 years working in public health and helped provide access to dental care. His dental roots began at Sacopee Valley Health Center then continued at Nasson Health Care where he completed service for the National Health Service Corps. Dr. Parent is very excited to return to Porter and spend his career improving the dental health of Sacopee Valley. In his free time, Dr. Parent loves to spend time outside with his wife Lindsey, son Luke, and black lab Ace. Dr. Parent is an avid outdoorsman and loves to fish, hunt, camp, and hike. He once caught a 10 pound landlocked salmon!

Jodi Lajoie is a 2002 graduate of Sacopee Valley High School, she went on to further her education at the University of New England in Portland for Dental Hygiene. She has worked for most of her career in Fryeburg Maine but recently joined Sacopee Valley Family Dentistry and Standish Family Dental Health crews. She loves being able to work and provide services for her family, friends and local community members. She grew up in Baldwin and then made the lengthy move to Porter after college. She enjoys spending time with her husband Shane of 10 years and their 5 years old daughter Avery. As a family they love to go hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and much more. Jodi herself doesn't have much of a green thumb but tries experimenting with gardening!!!!! As Avery gets older there are still many more new hobbies to find, mountains to ski and fish to catch.
