OCII

OCII is a state-authorized local entity serving as the successor to the former San Francisco Redevelopment Agency. All 400 redevelopment agencies in California were dissolved in February 2012 under state law. OCII is unique among successor agencies to former redevelopment agencies in that it has long-term major development projects approved by the State and requiring the exercise of broad redevelopment authority, including tax increment financing, affordable housing production, and project-specific design and land use approvals... OCII-the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure-has assisted the private market and the City in creating three new San Francisco inclusive neighborhoods-Hunters Point Shipyard/Candlestick Point, Transbay and Mission Bay. Through public-private partnerships, OCII is bringing to life over 1,100 acres of land.
