STOCKBRIDGE PRIMARY

Nestled in the heart of the Test Valley, our small but growing school is an exciting place to come and learn. Our community is drawn together from Stockbridge and its surrounding villages, as well as those further afield, which makes it a very special place... I am enormously privileged to be the headteacher at Stockbridge and have seen it make quite a journey - always with children at the very heart of every decision and move we make. We are a school for families: our children are organised into ‘family groups' who eat and play together, and children are buddied up within their family so that an older child is always looking out for their younger buddy... Our school motto of ‘shaping learners for life' is very dear to our hearts. We are preparing children for a world we ourselves aren't really sure of, and here at Stockbridge, we strive to develop children who are ready to face the future, both academically and socially.
