At Stellar Cattle Dogs, herding dogs with natural herding instinct and the desire to work with you is what we strive for! We breed for dogs that are gritty and can handle the pressure of training but are biddable to their handler. Our dogs are all around dogs that enjoy a variety of activities. However, no two cattle dogs are alike. The Australian Cattle Dog is not for everyone. They are very active and need a job to keep their minds busy. As with any breed, there are some health issues that cattle dogs are known for. Thankfully we have tests that can help prevent us from passing on those issues. All of our dogs are health tested for hip dysplacia, full hearing, prcd and pll... We urge you to fully research the breed before purchasing a cattle dog.
