Bayard Fox grew up in the world of wine . He remembers his young age, and family meals always accompanied by wine. He worked his first harvest in the south of France in 1980 , and ten years later arrived in Napa to broaden his knowledge , and eventually create his own wine, Renard, with the help of his wife, a graphic designer. Apart from barrels and wine, Bayard likes to conquer some of the high peaks in the west of his country: Mt. Shasta, Mt. Rainer and others. He enjoys skiing and sometimes goes for runs with his dog in the hills of Napa.

Christophe Garcia 's passion for what was to become his life's journey began in 1993 when he was an apprentice in a cooperage. He quickly fell in love with wood and its processing into barrels . Throughout these years, Christophe's passion and energy for his craft continued to grow until he took up the challenge of forming a new cooperage when the time arose.
