Tara Worthley

Committed to being of service to her clients, Tara recognizes that her clients are going through some of the hardest times in their lives, and they need someone to help navigate the legal system. Tara stands up for her clients and holds the responsible parties accountable for their actions. Tara represents clients seriously injured as the result of personal injury, medical negligence, vehicle crashes, and other types of negligent conduct. Her work also goes beyond the clients she represents. She is actively involved in the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), serving on its Executive Committee since May 2019, its Board of Directors since March 2010 and as chair of its Amicus Committee since May 2015. "Amicus" means "friend of the court." When cases get appealed to our appellate courts, including the Indiana Supreme Court, sometimes ITLA gets involved in an advisory capacity as "Amicus" to share its views with our courts on how important cases can affect the people of our State, our workers, patients, citizens and those who are hurt who often don't have the money or power to have their voices heard. Tara serves as the leader of the committee that selects the cases ITLA becomes involved in. She has received five appreciation awards from ITLA for her volunteer efforts in authoring Amicus briefs on issues important to Indiana victims of negligence. And in the years of 2017-2019, Tara was presented with a "President's Award" for her work on the ITLA Amicus Committee.
