Asian Infrastructure Pte Ltd ('AIL' or the 'Company') is an infrastructure development company with investments in power generation assets and services business. The company has a target to build a portfolio of 10,000 MW of power generation assets. AIL through its subsidiary Asian Genco Pte Ltd (AGPL) has made investments in 4,244 MW power generation assets in India. The projects include three hydel power projects in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim, one wind farm in Gujarat, one gas based and one coal based thermal power project in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The portfolio basket also includes 206 Km 400Kv transmission line to evacuate power generated from project in Sikkim and a captive port to support coal handling of large thermal plant in the portfolio. At current portfolio size AIL is one of the largest non-family owned private power entity in the country...
