The goal of the Strategic Platform Environment 2012 - Brussels Retrofit XL - is to promote (and coordinate) research on retrofitting of the built environment (housing) within the Region of Brussels, with the aim of extending the knowledge base on building retrofitting actions, stimulating renovation initiatives and mapping retrofitting opportunities for the Brussels context. The platform is expected to produce mid-term results leading to an economic valorization : through the creation of spin-off companies or collaborations with existing companies located in the Region...
