Originally trained as a vehicle interior trimmer and minibus converter, he was approved by Reimo to install their iconic Rock and Roll beds and pop-top roofs, plus knows all about wheelchair access lifts and ramps and every passenger seat system CoTrim offers today.
He has now taken a massive change in job role, leading from the front, getting out and seeing our clients 3 to 4 days a week, building incredible new relationships with big corporates as well as the dealer and lease network.
He loves the satisfaction of creating something from scratch and the more complicated the problem, the better. Ian is also known for drinking more tea than the average human.
Kevin began his career in the industry in 1983, offering bespoke upholstery and trimming services. He went on to found CoTrim in Salisbury in 1994, manufacturing bespoke van conversions for businesses and private customers alike. His highest priority has always been to listen to our customers' needs AND provide safe van conversions manufactured to the highest standards.
He continues to manage and oversee the business and loves making our customers happy through the transformation of their vehicles.
Kevin is also proud Dad to Gregg, Nathan, Layne, Tom and Marina.
Layne manages the purchasing of parts for all of our conversions. His research skills keep us ahead of the curve for bespoke jobs and every time a new vehicle model is released. He works closely with our workshop team to make sure they have all of the information and designs they need to work on each project with precision and quality checks every build as it's completed.
We can rely on Layne to ensure every part needed is ready on time so the workshop continues to flow smoothly. He loves finding the perfect styling parts and creating the coolest leather stitching designs that make all the difference to the finished look.
