Edward A. Pulice

A graduate of New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Pulice received his specialty training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He began practicing with Ophthalmic Associates and joined Essential Healthcare Group in 2021. Dr. Pulice is a board certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the Fairfield County Medical Society, The American Medical Association and The Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians. He is also the senior attending ophthalmologist at Bridgeport Hospital and founding member of The Connecticut Eye Surgery Center, South, located in Milford, Connecticut. Dr Pulice served in several mission sites abroad as a teaching and serving surgeon with Surgical Eye Expeditions International and is fluent in Spanish, German and Italian.

Omar Faridi

Dr. Faridi is a Board Certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma. Dr. Faridi's areas of expertise include comprehensive medical management of glaucoma, state-of-the-art glaucoma laser treatment, innovative micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), such as the iStent trabecular micro-bypass system, advanced surgical treatment of complex glaucoma, and small-incision cataract surgery. Dr. Faridi also enjoys performing routine and emergency eye examinations for adults and adolescents, including annual examinations and diabetic eye care. Dr. Faridi joined Eye Physician and Surgeons, P.C. in 2012 after completing a fellowship program in Glaucoma at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr. Faridi went on to earn his M.D. from the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Faridi was selected for the residency program in Ophthalmology at the William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, where he served as Chief Resident of Ophthalmology. Dr. Faridi is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Faridi is also on medical staff at the Milford Hospital and CT Eye Surgical Center in Milford. He has co-authored numerous scholarly journal articles and has presented original research in glaucoma at annual meetings. Dr. Faridi is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, and the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians.
