Dr. Andrew Cook

Bio Andrew is a GP with particular interests in emergency medicine and aged care. Previously he has worked as a doctor in Port Fairy and Canada. Outside of medicine he enjoys spending time with his family, travel and good coffee with friends. Dr Andrew Cook is not accepting new patients at present.

Dr. Ben Tang

Bio Ben is a GP Obstetrician from Malaysia who graduated with an MBBS from Monash University in 2014. He previously worked in the Mornington Peninsula and East Gippsland before moving to work in West Gippsland since 2019. He has an Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics (Adv DRANZCOG) and is providing obstetric care in West Gippsland Healthcare Group on Mondays. He also has a diploma in Children's health. Outside of work he loves spending time with this family, cycling and running.

Dr. Jenny Worboys

Bio Jenny is a GP who joined the Gladstone St Medical Centre family in August 2017. Previously Jenny worked in Trafalgar for 12 years, and prior to this in Leongatha and Melbourne. Jenny has interests in a broad range of clinical problems including chronic disease, mental health and palliative care. She is also a medical educator with the GP training program and the Warragul hospital.

Dr. Jessica Chan

Bio Dr. Jessica is will be returning February 2024! Jessica is a GP working in the Gippsland area since 2014. She graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2009 and complete further training at Austin and Northern Health. She has undertaken further postgraduate qualifications in Paediatrics and Skin cancer medicine. Her interests are in Paediatrics, Chronic Disease management and a wide variety of General Practice. She lives in Warragul with her husband, daughter, dog and 4 chickens.

Dr. Mark Crowley

Bio Dr Mark Crowley has returned to GSMC in January 2023. Mark hails from Co Cork in Ireland. He obtained his Medical Degree in University College Cork and graduated with an Honours degree in 2013. He worked in Cork for 2 years before moving to Melbourne in 2015. Mark worked with Monash Health in Melbourne in a variety of Hospital Roles before entering General Practice Training in 2018. He undertook advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in La Trobe Regional Hospital in 2018. Mark provides shared care with the maternity team at West Gippsland Hospital. Dr. Tom Kefford

Job Titles:

Tom was born at West Gippsland Hospital and has spent his whole life in the area, only moving away briefly to study. After a short stint at Melbourne University, Tom was very keen to return to complete his studies in Gippsland and spent a lot of time between Warragul, Traralgon and Sale during his clinical years. Tom was fortunate enough to get his intern job in the hospital where he was born and worked there for three years in the paediatric and emergency departments.

Dr. Winnie Lau

Bio We welcomed Dr Winnie to the GSMC team in February 2023 for her GP Registrar placement through the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program led by RACGP. In 2024 she is continuing to practice at GSMC! She graduated from Monash University in 2016 and went on to further training having completed the Sydney Child Health Program, obtained an Emergency Medicine Certificate and she also brings to the team a Certificate of Women's Health. Winnie has particular interest in paediatrics and emergency medicine.
