Investigating Innocence is a not-for-profit organization that provides investigative support to indigent inmates, lawyers and Innocence Projects throughout the United States who seek to prove post-conviction claims of actual innocence. To help accomplish this goal, the organization is dedicated to training and educating its members to the highest standards in how to conduct post-conviction investigations. Investigating Innocence was formed in Jan. of 2013, by private investigator Bill Clutter, who serves as its Director of Investigations.
