IN THE LIGHTS® - Key Persons

Aislinn Cain

Aislinn Cain (pronounced ACE-lyn, not Aslan like the lion) is a social media #marketingchampion and actress. A not so typical #youngprofessional, she is originally from Alabama where she graduated cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.A. in Musical Theatre and minor in Business Administration. After graduating in May of 2021, she achieved her lifelong dream of living in NYC and working in the theater industry. Prior to In The Lights, she launched, created content, and managed the socials for various Birmingham, AL based non-profits. When she isn't #poundingthepavement for clients or auditions, you can find her scrolling through TikTok (it's totally market research!), tending to her many house plants, or cooking up a storm in her tiny Harlem apartment. She's thrilled to trade the Southern small town life in for the #citygirl lifestyle.

Amber Henrie - CEO

Job Titles:
  • CEO
CEO, #bosslady, and extrovert extraordinaire, Amber hung up her dancing shoes for a new kind of spotlight. Bringing principles learned in her ballroom dance training-discipline, tenacity, attention to details, and killer facial expressions-she transitioned into a public relations career, having since gained considerable experience in arts, culture, entertainment, food, and consumer technology industries. Before #entrepreneurlife, Amber won key speaking opportunities and industry awards for her clients as well as exposure in top print, online and broadcast outlets. She has cultivated impactful relationships with top journalists from all mediums. She encourages companies to look at simple ways to effectively utilize the benefits of technology, develop dynamic messaging, and employs constant inventiveness to tell the stories that matter most. Nestled in Harlem, at her desk with a coke or working to the hum of her self-customized treadmill desk, she is a #serialplanner and guilty of having too many pens (and a secret crush on Lionel Richie, but you didn't hear it from us!). She holds a B.A. in Dance from Brigham Young University.

Chelsea Anderson-Long

Chelsea Anderson-Long's passion for arts marketing comes from her dual background as a freelance theater director and arts marketing professional. She holds a Master of Science in Professional Communications and a B.A. in Theater Arts from Clark University, and studied abroad at the University of Tasmania (Fun fact: she totally got to meet and pet a Tasmanian Devil-- and not the looney tunes kind!). Prior to joining In the Lights, Chelsea served as the Marketing Associate at Primary Stages, where she oversaw social media and marketing initiatives for Primary Stages ESPA. She has also held positions in the marketing, sales, and management departments of theaters and visual arts organizations, including San Francisco Mime Troupe, Danforth Art, and Dzian Gallery. As a director and producer, she has an interest in developing new plays, especially plays written by and for women--#girlpower. She is drawn to scripts that use humor as an access point to address complex political, societal, or interpersonal issues, and works mostly with new plays in development. Originally from Massachusetts, she relocated to New York City in 2014 with her wife, Maria. In her spare time, Chelsea spoils her cats Rosie and Tilly (Crazy Cat Lady, and proud of it!), plays pub trivia (Team name: Bed Bath and Beyoncé!), and finds opportunities to travel. So far, she's visited twenty-two countries across six continents. Can you say wanderlust?

Katherine's accumulated years of diverse experiences in various management careers over her professional life. From humble beginnings in Singapore as a bank real estate division clerk and a production planner with Apple Computer (#genuisOG), she travelled westward to the United States in pursuit of higher education and the perfect Hallal Guy's chicken kebab! She's had successful careers in NYC's investment banking world, and the non-profit world-serving in senior management positions at two non-profits in Washington, D.C, one of which she co-founded. Katherine is a #financialowl and skilled at operations management, which makes us the luckiest gals in the world! She has a MBA from Brigham Young University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University-Hawaii-and that's no BS! Psst, on the QT, Katherine may sound "stuffy" but she is an "adventurer" at heart-after all, she's the first expat in her family.
