Dean Wall returned to William & Mary Law School following seven years of service at the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he served as the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and taught Legal Writing, Property, and Wills, Trusts, and Estates. He previously led Boyd Law's admissions team as Assistant Dean for Admissions & Financial Aid, taught English and Scottish literature at the University of Edinburgh, and served as Assistant Dean for Admissions at William & Mary Law School. Dean Scianandre came to the Law School following his work as the Director for Budget Planning and Finance at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. He previously served as Senior Manager of Financial Operations and Manager for Reporting and Analysis at Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs. Dean Scianandre's experience also includes serving as a Financial Analyst at Columbia Business School in New York City.
Dean Issa joined the Law School administration in April 2023. Her portfolio of responsibilities include all aspects of recruitment, admission and financial aid for the J.D. program.
Dean Issa joined William & Mary from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was assistant dean for J.D. and graduation admissions. Prior to joining Seton Hall University, she worked in a number of roles at Drexel University: as director of diversity, equity and Inclusion at Drexel University College of Medicine and as assistant dean of admissions and director of diversity and inclusion at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She previously served as director of admissions at the University of South Carolina School of Law and as associate director of admissions at Northeastern University School of Law. Learn more.

Dean Amy King joined the William & Mary Law School Administration in June 2021. Her portfolio of responsibilities includes identifying, developing, and implementing online and executive programs.
Dean King began her career in online education at the University of Maryland Global Campus supporting remote faculty and students (2005-2011). Most recently she served as the Assistant Dean of Online and Enrollment Management for George Washington University Health Sciences (2014-2021), implementing the health sciences strategic plan, developing and implementing online programs, and delivering key enrollment services across a robust online and residential portfolio of programs.
Dean Shepherd joined the Law School administration in September 2018. Her portfolio of responsibilities includes academic support, wellness, diversity and inclusion initiatives, exam scheduling and administration, student accommodations, and personal and professional support. She also supervises the Law School Registrar's Office.
Dean Shepherd began her career in the Office of the District Attorney of New York County, where she served as an Assistant District Attorney with significant responsibility in prosecuting domestic violence cases. She later served as Director of Academic Affairs at New York Law School, and as Assistant Secretary to the New Jersey Board of Bar Examiners, a role in which she managed all aspects of the attorney admissions process, including bar exam administration and character and fitness issues. Prior to coming to William & Mary, she was the Associate Dean for Student Services at North Carolina Central University School of Law.
Among her professional activities, she has served as Executive Secretary of the Council of Bar Admission Administrators and as Chair of the 2018 ACCESSLEX Graduate and Professional Financial Aid Conference.

A Virginia native, Dean Howerton began her career in institutional advancement at William & Mary during the Campaign for William & Mary (2000-2007). She served as the university's Student and Alumni Coordinator and later as a Major Gifts Officer before joining the Law School. Carefully stewarding the completion of the For the Bold Campaign (2014-2020) for the Law School, she was named Associate Dean for Advancement in June 2020.

Before joining William & Mary, Dean Ende was a partner with the law firm of Cullen and Dykman, LLP, in Garden City, N.Y., where he specialized in bank regulatory and compliance and corporate transactional matters. He then served for nearly six years as the Assistant Dean for Career Services at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
In May 2020, Dean Ende was elected to a two-year term on the National Association for Law Placement's (NALP) Board of Directors and is a member of the Board's Finance Committee.
