Denise Orme

Denise Orme, M.Ed. has 35 years experience as a teacher, professional developer, special education technical advisor, mentor specialist and principal. She was the liaison between Jordan School District and a consulting firm in developing the teacher evaluation system that is now used in that district as well as other districts in Utah and Idaho. She implemented a consulting educator program that provided support to struggling teachers. She has experience as a district provided mentor for new principals. She has extensive experience in observing teachers for their use of effective teaching strategies and providing feedback to plan for growth. She is proud of the recognition her school received as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2012.

Michelle Clark

Michelle Clark, M.Ed. has 33 years as a professional educator. She began her career as a classroom teacher before becoming an elementary principal. As a principal, her greatest pleasure was watching good teachers become great teachers. Mentoring teachers thru the difficult times and celebrating their successes was an everyday occurrence. Michelle has mentored teachers and principals in both Canyons and Jordan School Districts in Utah. She has a wide range of training and she is considered an expert in organization. Michelle is a graduate of Westminster College and the University of Utah. She has completed extensive work at Brigham Young University. She is the recipient of the Principal of the Year award for Jordan School District.

Ruth Peters

Ruth Peters has experience with mentoring teachers in various grade levels. As an intern coordinator she coached university students in developing lesson plans, core knowledge, and class management. While serving as an elementary principal Mrs. Peters supervised teachers in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Teachers were coached on effective teaching strategies, management of the classroom, core curriculum, district and state education guidelines, and professional communication skills. Ruth Peters is a thirty-two year education veteran. She received her BA in Early Childhood Education from the University of Utah, a Masters of Education from Westminster College, and a second Masters of Education with emphasis on Administration from Brigham Young University. She is currently a principal founder of Mentoring Solutions.
