Dr. Alberto Pérez Ortiz boasts over 15 years of expertise in management and project implementation within the energy transition and climate change sectors. His areas of proficiency include renewable energy, energy efficiency, electric mobility, NDC, and LT-LEDS. Holding a Doctorate in Engineering in Offshore Renewable Energy from the University of Edinburgh, Alberto has made significant contributions across the globe, collaborating with key industrial, academic, and multilateral players. As an Ocean Energy Specialist at the ADB, Alberto developed a comprehensive handbook on ocean energy, appraised various wave and tidal energy projects, and provided expert technical advice. His contribution extends to the development of courses on technical, financial, regulatory, and fiscal aspects of renewable energy for the EU and the World Bank.
