Aaran Scott is the Global Lead for the firm's legal project management function and is responsible for the deployment of legal project management best practice within Clifford Chance.
Aaran is one of our most experienced Legal Project Managers, with over 15 years' experience at managing transformational projects within financial and legal services. He is Prince 2 qualified and experienced at utilising lean and agile methods to successfully manage large and cross border projects.
Aaran is based in our London office and is a member of the firm's Best Delivery Operational Executive Group.
Adrian Cartwright specialises in equity capital markets including issues of shares and global depositary receipts in the international markets.
Adrian leads the firm's European Equity Capital Markets group.
Alex Nourry specialises in all aspects of EU and UK competition law, including the control of mergers and joint ventures, cartels and abuse of market power, State aid and subsidy control, public procurement and foreign investment controls. Alex is a member of the Brussels Bar as well as a Solicitor admitted in England and Wales and regularly represents clients before the EU and UK competition authorities as well as the European Courts across a wide range of industry sectors. Alex is a Vice-Chair of the ICC Global Commission on Competition and a member of the Editorial Boards of the European Competition Law Review (ECLR) and Competition Law Insight (CLI).
Alex Panayides is a Partner in the international commercial arbitration and Contentious Construction Groups, specialising in litigation, arbitration and ADR.
Alex heads the firm's dispute resolution practice for the oil and gas sector and also specialises in disputes within the construction and maritime industries.
Alex is the Africa Practice Leader for Arbitration and Litigation.

Dave Poddar has over 20 years' experience in competition/antitrust law and heads the firm's Asia-Pacific antitrust practice. He has worked on significant clearances for Australian M&A and international joint ventures and alliances. Dave has also worked on infrastructure access and regulatory matters as well as advising on competition agency investigations and cartel matters.
Dave has been a Non-Government Advisor to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) on merger processes for a number of years. Dave also leads the firm's telecommunications, media and technology sector in Asia Pacific.

Greg Olsen is the Head of the London Antitrust Practice.
Greg has over 25 years' experience in the application of EU and UK competition law to mergers, joint ventures and commercial arrangements as well as market investigations and alleged behavioural violations such as cartels, anticompetitive arrangements and abuse of market power. Greg advises major companies and institutions in a diverse range of industries including financial services, insurance, media and consumer goods.
In 2018, Greg was named "Dealmaker of the Year" by Global Competition Review.
James Abbott is head of the disputes practice in the Middle East. James specialises in commercial litigation, arbitration and ADR. James has significant experience of cross-border banking and financial litigation, including fraud and asset tracing, regulatory investigations, sanctions issues, joint venture and shareholder disputes.
He has advised on a number of major infrastructure and construction projects and represents insurers and reinsurers. James has experience of arbitration under the ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICSID and DIAC Rules.
