The business is owned and run by Gary Smyth. Gary and his team have over 50 years combined Highland Dress Tailoring and Retail expertise. Gary's past experiences, include Kiltmaker and then Production Manager, with the world famous Hector Russell Kiltmaker Group. Gary first gained his passion for the whole Highland Dress subject whilst serving in the now amalgamated 1st BN Queen's Own Highlanders, as a Drummer in the Pipes & Drums. With his eye for detail and precision, Gary can advise on the proper etiquette when it comes to Highland Dress. At Scotkilt, we believe that our attention to detail, will ensure that all our Kilts and Highland Dress Outfits, will stand out from the rest as a quality product. For example, when manufacturing all of our garments, (Kilts, Kilted Skirts, Tartan Trews & Jackets) we believe, that by pressing them at various stages of their manufacture, will ensure, that a well fitting garment will be produced, which will result in total customer satisfaction.
